There is a bird in our backyard who begins warbling every night around 9pm and doesn't stop until dawn. Our neighbors call him "that bird." It would appear he likes to imitate car alarms in his song.

"Chicks do dig cars," I say.

What could possibly be the cause of his confusion? I am asking you, Livejournal. Please tell me!

I would happily buy this bird some therapy. Baby needs some sleep!

Howdy, LJ Friends who might have Twitter!

I just started working on two new twitter accounts. If you might be interested in following either of them I would be SUPER DUPER deliriously HAPPY.

First is Hypercombo, the Twitter arm of Chris' (revolvingdork) Hypercombofinish.com. It's gonna be all about video games and video game trivia and games and fun and awesome.

And then there's LineByLine which is basically an attempt on my part to read more poetry. I'm tweeting poems line by line. Right now I'm in the middle of Miniver Cheevy.

In other news, I lost my writing job yesterday. The owners of the site have lost their funding and pulled the plug. I am a sad panda.
